Puāwai Pōhutukawa was created by Bronwyn Williams originally in 2020.
The name of the pakihi Māori (Māori business) is an acknowledgement to her mum, who carried the name Pōhutukawa, and to all whānau who strive to grow their own potential and that of their communities for a better now and an improved tomorrow.
Puāwai Pōhutukawa is a strong advocate for rongoā Māori in all of its forms and senses. Bronwyn brings a wealth of knowledge from her experiences with
Te Korowai Aroha o Aotearoa, Toihoukura, and Mahi a Atua in the field of rongoā to lead/facilitate collective and meaningful conversations.
Pūawai Pōhutukawa collaborates with many practitioners of Māori knowledge to offer unique experiences in wānanga where if required, a team of mātauranga practitioners will hold space for those seeking change.
