Puāwai Pōhutukawa

Welcome to Puāwai Pōhutukawa - the place for collective learning and growth. Our name comes from the red and vivid blossom of the Pohutukawa tree, which from the root of it's existence to the blossom symbolizes resilience, strength, cycles and unfolding beauty.

We offer space to come together in a collective approach to understanding our experiences in a meaningful and creative way, to learn the new and relearn the old while honouring the resilience, strength, cycles and unfolding beauty in each of us.

Puāwai Pōhutukawa was created by Bronwyn Williams originally in 2020 with the onset of the Covid19 virus, whilst working part time from home.

Initially this was a rongoā based business mixed with other art mediums.

Soon after Bronwyn started the business, she was called back to fulltime work and Puāwai Pōhutukawa fell to the wayside.

In 2024 after the tragic loss of her sister, Bronwyn decided it was time for new beginnings and left her job to pursue Puāwai Pōhutukawa once more. This time choosing to incorporate her facilitation skills to create and hold space for wānanga. (See 'Our Services' tab)

Bronwyn brings a wealth of knowledge from her experiences with Te Korowai Aroha o Aotearoa, Toihoukura and Mahi a Atua to lead collective and meaningful conversations.

Bronwyn promotes a safe and supportive space where whanau can come together, connect, and grow through wānanga.
